Where is Kukua Beach Club located in Punta Cana?
Kukua is located on Bavaro beach and sits on private property. It is nested in between the RIU and Bahia resorts, both of which are walking distance to Kukua. Our address can be found at the bottom of every page on our website or on google maps.
Is Kukua open to the public? Is there a fee to go there?
Can I make reservations for lunch/dinner at Kukua?

How many events are held at Kukua per day?
Just one should it require us to close the venue (eg. weddings, large corporate events, etc)
What sort of events does Kukua host?
We host everything from elaborate weddings, corporate/charity events, large birthday celebrations, and more, all customized to suit your needs.
What is the seating capacity of Kukua?
Our Main salon has a capacity of 120. However we have hosted events of up to 200 people, which requires us to construct an additional structure on our beach. So anything is possible! Please do specify if your group is going to be larger than 140 when inquiring so our event/wedding team can provide the proper information.
Does Kukua cater to dietary restrictions/allergies? What about Vegan & Vegetarians?
We accommodate all dietary restrictions/allergies. Please be sure to mention your dietary restrictions so we can cater accordingly. Vegetarian/Vegan options are available upon request.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is a parking area.
Is Kukua wheelchair accessible?
Our entire property is wheelchair accessible.
Weddings
Does Kukua include an event/wedding planner? On-site coordinator? Is there an additional charge for them?
Kukua has a specialized team of event/wedding planners, an on site coordinator and a designer all in house and included with your event, so you do not need to worry about a thing! Our team works closely with you to ensure a personalized experience that is not only stress-free, but fun.
Does Kukua have vendor fees?
No. Photography/videography, hair and makeup are very something we believe are very personal and we want you to love who you choose. Vendors outside of those (eg. bands, live entertainment, etc) are welcome but we do ask that you clear them with our team prior to booking them.
Is there a time limit for when wedding receptions end?
The open bar (which follows dinner) marks the start of the dancing portion of your reception and dictates the duration of your reception. Just like weddings at home. We do not have a set time that receptions need to end.
Does Kukua offer site visits and/or food tastings?
We do offer site visits but they need to be booked in advance as we have specific windows of time for them should we be hosting an event.
Food tastings are reserved for booked couples and are included for free within several days prior to a couples wedding.
Is transportation provided for weddings?
Private transportation round trip is always accounted for and you are welcome to stay and any resort of your choosing. Pricing is based on the location of your resort. Please contact us for more information.
Can a family member or friend officiate the symbolic ceremony?
Yes. We know weddings are very personal so should you choose to have a friend/family member officiate, we welcome them. For symbolic weddings there are no requirements for an officiant.
Are there entertainment options available?
Yes. We offer many options all of which can be found in our services information that is sent via email to all inquiries.
Is there a place for the bride(s) and groom(s) to get ready? Is there a fee to use that space?
Absolutely! We have one of the largest bridal suites available, along with a separate grooms room, so everyone can come and enjoy taking their getting ready photos on site.
What happens if it rains?
We have a large Palapa on the beach which is a covered structure and can easily accommodate 100+ persons in the event of rain.
Are children allowed? Is there a menu for children?
Children are very welcome at Kukua and most weddings have children in attendance. There is a separate children’s menu and we accommodate them with much love.
